Our Vision

Created and named in homage to the socially responsible and humanitarian achievements of the band U2.

Rattle & Hum Music Society is a registered non profit organization, which seeks to educate artist from the field of Music, Art, Dance, Theater and Literature of their role in the formation of culture/ counter culture.

Rattle and Hum also strives to provide a platform for artists to showcase their works and to facilitate the building of networks, whether artistic or commercial.

The ultimate endeavor of Rattle and Hum is to invest in the youth and their creative abilities.

2011
KENIE CHALIE – an upcoming singer from Nagaland was invited to sing in an album by Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt – Grammy Winner.
Film makers exchange program under the aegis of Nazareth College and Rochester university USA

2010
CULTURAL VIBRANTS – a folk group from Nagaland was invited to perform in the film ‘The Hunt’ with Nasaruddin Shah.
Parables for a Compassionate Revolution – The society together with the Art & Culture Council for Greater Rochester, USA and the M.K Gandhi Institute for Non Violence organized an art exhibition by American artist Heather Layton at Dream Café, Kohima, Nov 27 – Dec 2, 2010.
Glocal Film Fest – A film festival showcasing works by global and local filmmakers was organized by the society in collaboration with Nazareth College , USA, XL Nagaland and Wishingwell Foundation at The Heritage, Kohima, 2010, Dec 1, 2

2009
The society secured a singing contract for two Naga singers at Palm Beach Resort in Vishakapatnam

2008
The society organized a guitar playing contest endorsed by Epiphone Guitar USA. The guitar company gave away a guitar as the winning prize.
